We welcome visits from Secondary School groups.
Groups can have a self-guided visit exploring the museum, or we can offer learning sessions based on a particular topic.
The history, science, art and geology of this area are brought to life through our engaging, interesting and participatory sessions.
Our ‘hands on history’ approach means that all learning sessions include object handing. The museum objects help students increase their knowledge and understanding of the topic. Group leaders can visit the museum for free in advance to plan the visit.
