Art & Words around the Stones

Budding poet or enjoy a bit of sketching?

Then come along and join us on Sunday 5th July 2026 for a free workshop session of inspiration and creativity from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Castlerigg Stone Circle.

An English Heritage Volunteer Guide will inspire you with words & art from past visitors to this ancient & awesome site – bring your own pen & paper (and perhaps a snack and something to sit on) and spend some time with like-minded others creating your own personal record of your visit – maybe a poem or a picture – to share at the end of the session.

All ages welcome!

Some basic paper & colouring materials will be available onsite for those who have forgotten to bring some…
