Museum Shop

Home > Visit > Museum Shop

Located within the Station Road entrance to the building you can find the reception desk and gift shop, ready to welcome you to the museum.

No museum admission is required to come in and browse around our delightful selection of bespoke and local gifts. Keswick Museum is a registered charity, so every penny you choose to spend is a donation towards the continued running of the museum: caring for the collection, paying our lovely staff and maintaining our beautiful Arts & Crafts building.

Some familiar faces from one of England’s most famous tales, Keswick resident Robert Southey’s Story of the Three Bears, have arrived in our shop!

Our ethos

Wherever possible, we source our products from Cumbrian suppliers. Working along side local businesses enables us to create a real relationship with them for the benefit of the county, their business and us. We are also committed to using minimal, recyclable packaging.

Unique, whimsical jewellery by Cumbrian designer Emma Scott.

Take a little piece of Cumbria home with you

At the museum we like to create an experience where inspiration flows from exhibition space to retail space: our shop is brimming with enchanting treasures, many uniquely created for Keswick Museum. These pieces celebrate our collection, our latest exhibits, honour Keswick and our Cumbrian landscape and heritage.

Arts and crafts-inspired mirrors, sconces and clocks by metalwork artisan Allan Craig (ARC Designs)
