Hedgehog Day at Keswick Museum 🦔🍂
Hedgehog fans assemble! We’ve teamed up with Cumbria Wildlife Trust to bring a day of autumnal fun to the museum.
- 11am – 3pm family learning & crafts activities
- 3pm Hedgehog Talk by Cumbria Wildlife Trust (45 mins)
According to Cumbria Wildlife Trust, the number of hedgehogs in the UK has reduced by 30-75% since 2000. They are increasingly under threat from habitat loss and often make their homes in our gardens. It is up to us to protect these wonderful creatures and to help them to thrive.

Drop in between 11am and 3pm for an array* of free hedgehog-tastic activities and plenty of opportunities to learn all about our spikey nocturnal friends…
- Talk by Cumbria Wildlife Trust at 3pm
- Family-friendly learning activities
- Make your own hedgehog from clay
- Nature trail around Fitz Park
- Resources to help support hedgehogs in your own garden
We hope to see you there!
