Groups can have a self-guided visit exploring the museum, or we can offer learning sessions based on a particular topic.
The history, science, art and geology of this area are brought to life through our engaging, interesting and participatory sessions.
Our ‘hands on history’ approach means that all learning sessions include object handing. The museum objects help students increase their knowledge and understanding of the topic. Group leaders can visit the museum for free in advance to plan the visit.
For more information on any of the museum-based learning sessions or to discuss a bespoke visit to fit your particular learning needs, please contact Steve Bogle at Keswick Museum, either by phone on 017687 73263 or by email learning@keswickmuseum.org.uk
