What is 'Multisensory'?

Keswick Museum is a pilot partner of The Sensational Museum project – a research project radically re-thinking the role of senses in museums.

We worked with a group of pan-disabled co-creators on a multisensory installation called Crafting the Landscape: the journey of a piece of KSIA. The display explores the journey of a piece of KSIA-ware from the copper mines to the workshop, and visitors can touch, smell, and hear different elements.
